anyone make a fresh water trip to bayou black lately? I'm going Thursday - Sunday to the camp. I'm thinking the lake runners and perch should be biting by now.

I havent heard of the perch but i was told that the bass were on a week or two ago. I was thinking of going out there to test a new prop this weekend and might as well bring a few poles

Yeah, I heard the same. I'm going to bring the poles this weekend myself. If the bass or perch aren't biting, then I will set some jug lines. I'm thinking, with the weather warming up, that the fish will bite well.

Fished Bay Wallace a couple weeks ago and caught 3 nice Socs, missed a few more.

Idk, we just got a bay boat and my dad is all about messing with it right now. Hopefully head to Verret in the next couple weeks
