Does anyone else's Cox TV remote mess up when using DVR?

When I'm watching a show on tv that isn't taped, just something that I'm behind on, and I try to fast forward through commercials, it jumps all the way to live. It's ridiculous and happens often. Anyone else have this issue or is it a problem with my remote and/or box?

Yep, happens to me all of the time. It's annoying. I think it's the box, not the remote though.

I have in the past but it still does it. Doesn't hurt to call and tell them though.

Y'all mean like when it just gets stuck fast forwarding and won't play? Mine does that a lot and I will that pause button in the middle about 1000 times and it'll finally stop.

Mine does this thing where I try to fast forward through commercials and it will skip to the end of the recording. Usually happens toward the end of a recording but sometimes happens in the middle.

Yeah that happens if you are within 2 mins or so from the end every time. Pretty lame.

YES! I have gone through about 5 boxes in 3 years and every time I trade one in for another I have a different issue!

God I don't miss that stupidly large fricking box. Switch to DirecTV and don't look back.
