Anybody else fishing the Red River Oilman's tournament this weekend out of Red River South? It's going to be crowded out there.

There will be a bunch of them. With the river up they will be stacked in McDade like cord wood.

Some big sacks came out of White House last weekend. Chesapeake salesmen will be passing out numbers like the DMV on the north cut

I haven't been in awhile but I imagine the river is very muddy. Clean water will be crowded

Looking at it right now rolling through downtown. It makes chocolate milk look clear.

18.5 ish won it. 10.82 was the cutoff for a check. Water was surprisingly clean where we were but they were jerking on pool 5 pretty good. A lot of fish were still spawning it seemed and that coupled with falling water made for a funny bite.

On another note, they were snappin on caddo Saturday. 3 fish tourney took 26# to win and 16# to get a check. Get some

Damn, those river numbers are nice, Caddo numbers are out of this world.

I fished a private spot just across the levee from "the bee boxes" on the river and talked to 2 guys fishing on my way out.

They were both cranking and said they had caught 7 (this was at 11am), but said water was stained and McDade was full and nearly fished out.

We caught a few males, not much action. Could only get bit on a lizard.

How would you like to stroll up to the weigh-in with 3 5lbers and not even get a check?

Those Caddo numbers are insane. Would love to know what those three fish weighed each. Was this on the Texas side or Louisiana?

They had a 10#, a 9#, and a 6#.

I'm sure they were caught on Texas side but idk

I also heard they had 2 more overs to go along with it and would've had 32-33# 5 fish limit
