First off, who do you consider the blue bloods of college football..and then where would you rank them?
Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan. It's safe to say those are 3 that are for sure in.

No, maybe if they would have beaten Alabama in 09

Texas is a blue blood. Blue blood implies truck loads of cash.
That's Texas.
That's Texas.

i'd add texas

I think Oklahoma belongs on the list for sure. They've sustained success for the better part of a half century

Yeah, Oklahoma isn't a lock..so that's why I didn't mention them. I'm sure some will scoff at Michigan, but that's just my opinion.
Oklahoma is for sure a Blue blood

I wouldn't even put Tennessee ahead of LSU at this point

Nebraska
5 national titles (4 of which were back-to-back)
3 Heisman winners
35 straight bowl games

Yeah, I agree. If Michigan gets in because of their success before my father was born, Nebraska gets in for their overpowering success.

Nebraska is a good one. Heck, Miami deserves some consideration.

Blue Blood doesn't always mean most successful, but history and resources are critical. For example, Notre Dame is the blue blood program of college football, as they were prior to 2012 as well.
