I'm working in the Lafayette area today. Where is the best place to go for a man's haircut? TIA

I go to kevins on Verot. Ask for Marco but you'll have to call a few days in advance to get in.

My husband goes to Kevin's on verot school road. It's always busy and full of trucks so call ahead maybe.

It's only a short drive to New Iberia where Louisiana's most iconic haircut awaits...

Is that the place across from Heleaux's? If so, what the ever loving shite is going on in there that there are constantly 23 vehicles parked everywhere? Hookers? Gambling? I keep wanting to stop on my way home just to see what's going on.

Seriously, it's insane.

If you're old school head to Ike's near the corner of S College and Pinhook, its a few doors down from Popeye's. Ask for Talley, tell him you want the Catahoula special.

I have wondered this for 2 years. The building looks 400 sqft. Where do all the people go? Weird.

Dunno. I always go early before the crowds get there.

So...no hookers?

The place constantly looks like a fireworks stand on July 3rd. I always assumed they were giving out handjobs or something...

That being said, I'm fancy and go to Robert M's.

I used to go to Courville's and had good service. End of Rena Drive in the little shopping center. It was a father/son operation but I think the old man passed a little while back.

I too have wondered what's going on in there......and UncleJack is of little help here.

On recommendation from this site, I have been going to SOHO in River Ranch (Chelsea, baby), and it's been good. Just when I thought I couldn't get any better looking...........wow........just wow.

apparently young men in Lafayette have lots of money to blow on haircuts. I used to go to Kenny's on Verot and there would be a dozen or so young guys waiting for Brock to cut their hair. Funny thing was, none of them actually needed a hair cut. guess its a social event for them.

Brock gives a pretty decent hair cut BTW, if you don't mind the wait.

Yeh, Eli passed away a few years ago, but Russ (his son) is still cutting. He moved over to Feu Follet Rd, just off Kaliste Saloom.
