I realize that this country has turned, and the march toward socialism has started.

This quote is one that will be wiped away in time(as many others will). Things will be rewritten. But for now, I know the thoughts of the founding fathers(another area of attack for the left).

quote:

I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers to be feared. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. If we run into such debts, we must be taxed in our meat and drink, in our necessities and in our comforts, in our labor and in our amusements. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people, under the pretense of caring for them, they will be happy.”

Yes...amazing that an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere and/or a tiny increase in global temps means that dramatic actions are required. Changes in lifestyles, etc.

BUT, double the National Debt.....crickets

We need to focus on education.

The socialist have control of the education system. Not just high school. Colleges. They teach the future teachers this. That moves to grade schools and to jr high, high school....etc.

We have lost that part of the fight. Until that is reversed, we will continue to march towards socialism.

I'm not sure you know what this term means. Massive redistribution of assets does not equal socialism.

The other day a 10th grade kid comes up to a friend of mine and tells him he is moving to Osceola. Osceola is a town on the Arkansas/TN Border, but when my friend refers to it as a town the kid corrects him and informs him that Osceola is a state.

My friend pulls up google maps and shows him the difference between a state and a town. Kid still didn't get it.

Thank you Shelby County School System for doing your part in screwing over America's future.

I think your "march toward socialism" comments are loony tune, but I agree with you that one our biggest problems is the debt. Actually I think deficits in perpetuity are the bigger problem...but we're on the same page.

Almost exactly tracks the deficit. Transferring the wealth and the debt are completely entrained.

Does anyone talk about inflation anymore? I have an underlying fear that we will be seeing inflation come and give a knockout punch. Am I wrong in feeling this way?
