Riots in Connecticut --what should they ban to prevent them?

I'm thinking with all the destruction to property and injuries to people in Connecticut they should ban basketball? or possibly ban winning games? Banning guns stops shootings, right? At a minimum I would expect to see citizens lining up next year to register their basketballs with the gov't. It's common sense.

I'm starting to thing the main premise from "iRobot" has some truth.
The government thinks they have a responsibility to keep us safe.... even if it is to keep us safe from ourselves.

They should write a super-serious law to further ban rioting.
