Who is more upset, the staffer's husband or Neil Riser?

Ouachita Citizen article (with video)
Some great lines in there:
Ouch! Worst $5k he's ever spent.
These are my favorites:

Peacock’s husband, Heath Peacock, 34, also donated $5,200 to McAllister’s congressional campaign last fall, according to the FEC.

Throughout last fall’s congressional campaign, McAllister, a Republican from Swartz, touted his Christian faith and in one television commercial, he asked voters to pray for him. At least two other campaign television commercials featured McAllister walking hand in hand with his wife, Kelly, while their five children walked along. One television commercial captured the McAllister family in the kitchen of their home preparing breakfast before attending church.
These are my favorites:
quote:
“You don’t achieve goals by compromising your integrity but by building relationships on respect,” McAllister said.
“We have to love our neighbor, which is the most bipartisan you can be,” McAllister told The Ouachita Citizen at the time

Willie and Phil are not going to be happy

Hell, and old Rodney was featured on a 60 Minutes piece less than a year ago shoveling over $100k in PAC money to his two daughters.
5th District needs to find someone with integrity, or at least someone who can fake it well.

Wherever you are in public you should assume you're under a camera's eye and act accordingly. Not that adultery should be ever be accepted in private but at least he would have just been an adulterer instead of a dumbass adulterer.

It's just the stress of the job. His wife should have done more to support him

So...here's a question.
There are lots for Neil Riser supporters who will point to this episode as evidence that McAllister is a creep and and vindication for being on the "right" side of that election.
Will many of those same conservative/GOP activists support Vitter for Governor next year?

He's my Rep, and I'm not the least bit surprised. He didn't pass the smell-test, and was elected on the backs of democrats and low-information Duck Dynasty fans.
In the open primary election, he lost 32% to 18% to a true conservative, and since neither got 50%, that meant they were both in a runoff.
The Democratic mayor of Monroe endorsed McCalister, so it's safe to assume he got the majority of Democrat votes in the R vs R runoff.
Add to that he immediately changed his tune on Obamacare after the election, and I hope this is the last we hear from him short of "I resign"

It all goes back to naming children. His parents obviously named him after Vince Vance and the Valiants. That's a sure way to create a miscreant.

Yes. I voted for Riser and I will vote for Vitter before I vote for any Democrat.

Remember, he was elected in a special election. He has to run again in November (if he has a challenger).
Will/should Riser challenge him?
I think he should, but I think he won't because he was too personally upset about losing and won't want to go through that again.

He wasn't in a public building? Was it a private residence?

I think the article says it was his district office.
