Lemarcus Joyner FSU
Nickoe Whitley MissSt
HaHa Clinton Dix BAMA
Terrance Brooks FSU
Craig Loston LSU
Kenny Ladler VANDY
Calvin Pryor L'ville

It has just recently occurred to me that my favorite NFL team is more than likely going to need to draft a game-ready safety, and I haven't read up much on safeties until today, their press all makes them sound like badasses.

What does the MSB say? How can you educate me today?

Really like him as a mid-round guy.

In the fanspeak mock draft simulator, over and over again, and on multiple big boards, he's gone right after HaHa.

Joyner is the only potential superstar safety in this class. The rest are low ceiling players IMO

Antone Exum, VA Tech

I think he ends up as a very good NFL safety.

Exum definitely looks like a solid mid-late round pick. Experience at both CB and safety. With more hybrid DBs these days, coaches will like that he'll be comfortable covering slot WRs.

You forgot Jimmie Ward and Deone Buchanan(sp). Both most likely 2nd round safeties that I like and think will be good value for a team that takes them.

I love Joyner, but Pryor absolutely has superstar potential.

Looks like Clinton-Dix and Pryor are the more ready to step in right now guys. Joyner is an undersized guy who would prob go higher if he wasn't 5'8. I see people comparing him to Mathieu, but he isn't close to the player that Mathieu was in college. Joyner isn't the athlete that Mathieu is either.
