I just want to make sure im clear on this: a private citizen in 2008 donates $1000 to fight the cause of gay marriage and he must be destroyed and that action must be celebrated, but a presedential candidate in 2008 with the world watching says he thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman but this is ok???

I need clarification

Here's a hypothetical. Suppose the guy donated $150 to Prop 8 and it became public knowledge. Would he still have lost his job?

Good question, the gays might have figured in a cost of living increase though

There are dating services out there, man. You've got a computer, do your own work.

It's the same ones who have been writing letters to Rush's radio affiliate stations demanding that he be taken off the air. They also write to sponsors announcing the boycotts of their products until they pull advertising.

It's been going on for years. You don't keep up with the news much, do ya?

None of them really believed Obama was anti-gay marriage. At one time when he was a State Senator, he was pro-gay marriage. Then he switched when he wanted to run for the US Senate. Then he switched again in 2012. And all the time when he was against gay-marriage as President, he was releasing statements every time a state banned gay marriage saying that was "unproductive."

I have no doubt his advisers told LGBT groups during the 2008 campaign to not really believe Obama, that "they would be taken care of." And that's exactly what happened.

Right, because Obama is gay himself and his marriage is a front.

Leftist lies don't really count as 'lies'. It's just business.

Exactly. Just like I said earlier, the end result is all that matters.

Maine82 has it right. They knew Obama was lying.

Didn't most of us?

Obama telling gays about his new found flexibility must have gotten them excited.

I just don't understand how Gays have this much power to influence such things. They are like 1-2% of a population...and some of them respect others' views and don't make a big deal out of it.

Why do companies' care if a few thousand people nationwide boycott them? Do a lot of straight people boycott companies that are seen as "intolerable" to gays? Because personally I don't know of any straight person, liberal or conservative, that really gives a shite or gets offended for gay people and will defend them.

1. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Most CEO's just don't want the hassle.

2. Gay is the new Black. Today, being anti-gay is like being a racist in 1980. Blacks are only 15% of the population but they have the only word which cannot be printed or spoken.
