I have to think RF22 put himself in the conversation for playing time. He had a true nose for the ball and just seem to be very goood against the run. Beckwith was sort of silent today...

Yeah, he looked good, but like QB, it seems to take a while at MLB to develop. Feist has been in the system long enough, and it seems the compfortability in his reads, at least LSU's calls, was there. Like Minter and Kelvin, once it clicked, it clicked. Hope thats the case, here, and we aren't that pressed, getting Beckwith and Garrett some time to grasp everything. Depth seems to be something aswered at MLB, going forward.

If you go back and look at the screen pass to the fullback(neighbors) from Harris ... It was feists responsibility to be defending him out of the backfield ... Either he slipped or made the wrong read but Connor looked wide open... Chalk that up as you may and my observation was only from watching highlights ... But feist can tackle and is the aggressive player you want against the run... Defending the pass may not be his forte yet which could explain his lack of PT ... I think our linebackers will be a strength next year and unlike anything we have had recently ... It will be strength in numbers

if you're talking about the touchdown, it looks like Feist was on the other side. Who ever was on that side was sealed by Dural. Collins was on Dural but didn't recognize what was going on with the play, and should have broken off to make a play on Neighbors. It was a well designed play.

I like how the talent at MLB gets better as you go down the depth chart. Welter, Feist, Beckwith, Garrett. We stacked.

Beckwith was a AA out of HS, i'm not expecting Garrett to get many meaningful reps this year.

He will be great on ST though.

Feist isn't playing in the middle...

I though Beckwith was "must be on the field talent" ? What's going on with him?

He made some tackles, just not a lot of noise. He'll get better and learn behind Welter.
