Q Leslie didn't get a single catch
Diarse missed a few and had one good catch. Same with bolden.

Dural looked awesome. Smith did as well. Not much else.

Much props to the TE's though. Good hands all around and a couple misses by the qb's at wide open attempts. The only other big pass play I remember to anyone but dural is about a 30 yard pass play to bolden from Harris.

Why's this a surprise? Have they looked good at all this spring? I've been saying it but people are in for a rude awakening if they think this is going to be a good group of WRs. Better pray Quinn and Dupre can come in and somehow light it up as freshman. Going to be a lot of groaning in the stands this season from both QB/WR play.

We will rely heavily on Quinn, I think he leads the team in rec and I think dural or diarse will step up. We will probably use smith and the rbs and fbs more in the passing game to take some pressure off of Harris/Jennings

Leslie had a perfect pass thrown to him over the middle but looked back late it seemed and couldn't locate the ball. The DBs had him blanketed very good just like the other receivers. I like Bolden's play and his height certainly gives him some advantages.

Overall, I think the incoming freshmen will be fairly high on the depth chart next season and should get significant playing time.

Did you miss Dural today? Clear cut #1.

I knew he would be our deep threat but it seemed like all he ran were deep routes. Was open on quite a few but was never thrown too or just wasn't able to connect. If he wants to be a good receiver he's got to be able to run some better routs. Also seemed like his effort was lacking a lot of the time. A few pass plays I would watch him but he looked like he was just jogging and going through the motions

I may be wrong but I don't see dural being the #1 wr next year. I think Quinn will be that reliable go to guy kinda how jarvis was

Wasn't Diarse a QB in high school?

I have to disagree. I saw clean routes by q Leslie, dearse, even bolden looked pretty sharp. My prob was qb play. B Harris was nervous in first qtr to be expected. The td he threw in the 2nd was a "go up and get it", not a skill pass. Rettig had a pretty pass on the sidelines. And Jennings needs a little more refinement on decision making but shows he leads the qb battle.

I assume you mean his third td pass? It was a fade route to end the half. So yeah.. It was a go up and get it pass

Why do you think that? Dural has been the only WR to consistently perform throughout spring and is the only returning wideout with more than one reception in 2013. Landry was not reliable until the back half of his second year. He could maybe br as good as Beckham was as a true freshman (41 rec and over 400 yards), but he will not lead in yards or receptions unless they use him like Freeze used Treadwell.
