For those who watched the game, how did the D look? Were they looking gap sound and quick? I saw the picks on the highlight reel though one of them was completely noodle armed by AJ.

Absolutely shut down the run. Most of the plays were passes and they prevented the WRs from getting most of them.

They sure said Ronnie Fiest's name a lot. I hope I spelled his name right.

Feist I think. DJ Welter's name was not called a lot. The DT's all looked great.

Very impressive. I thought the 1st DLine dominated the LOS. Tashaun Bower and Danielle Hunter were in the backfield the whole game. DTs and LBs looked solid. Louis looked a lot more comfortable and played very fast.
I was most impressed with the secondary. White and Robinson were in the WRs hip pocket the whole game. Rickey Jefferson was laying some big hits. Ed Paris will be a stud.
Didn't notice Beckwith much. Seems like Feist's name was called on every tackle.

Debo looked awesome as well. He was all over the field.

Front 7 did good. Kwon and debo both had pick 6s. Completely shut down the running game.
Also sacked Jennings about 6 times.

As usual this is good and bad!!!! We need the offense to be productive. We have seen what only having a dominant defense does!.

Feist had 14 tackles in the first half....

Did the pressure get to Jennings quickly or was it more a case of him holding the ball too long?

A little of both. A couple of times he could have tucked it and ran, but sat in the pocket and watched it collapse.
Hunter had a few that he just smoked the guy in front of him.

This.
Two sacks were just the DL going beast mode. The other were just Jennings sitting in the pocket and not being able to escape.
Harris was very good at scrambling

LSUsports said Feist had 14 tackles. Four sacks for Hunter (only credited with two though), pick by Debo, pick by Kwon. Also said we had 622 yards of offense with 399 of it pass plays on 49 pass attempts.

I know he doesn't like the term "dual threat" or "running QB" (not the same btw), and it seems like he's just trying to rely on only his arm, which is not strong. He needs to learn, or somebody should just flat out tell him, that it is OK to use your gift of mobility. The Iowa game showed that much, and I'm guessing the spring game this year has too.
It's odd because he was moving away from the pressure last year in the game. He broke off a couple good runs in last year's game.
