...we're looking at Kenny Hilliard & Terrance Magee. Magee is just getting back from an injury. My guess is we will see a lot of passing formations Saturday. Risking any injury to the RB position at this point would not be a wise move at all. Anyone know who's getting reps at RB this spring other than Hilliard & Magee that we'll see Saturday?

Connor Neighbors is a FB but I guess we don't have many options until the Fall.

Fullbacks and walk ons will suffice so that we can run the plays we need.

In that case, give Hilliard 10 carries max & sit him. I'm not sure if Magee should play at all.

You saying the backfield is suspect?

Reshaud Henry (5'8/200lbs) is also on the roster. Walk on redshirt freshman running back. But yes Neighbors and Melvin Jones will both get carries.

If by suspect you mean lack of depth, yes. However this Fall begins the dynasty of "Buga Nation"

Too bad Tabari Williams isn't still around to dominate the Spring game.

Yeah, I don't think, and actually hope they don't risk Magee. Give Hilliard maybe 2 drives and sit him. A couple walk ons and the fullbacks will have to suffice.

I was looking around at other places and they are doing the same. Gurley is probably not doing anything this spring but staying in shape. Clement and Melvin Gordon at Wisconsin are limiting contact. It's OK when you have a stacked backfield, and you should never want your star getting a serious injury at RB when he is a major price to your offense. It reminds me of Knile Davis's spring injury after his explosive sophomore campaign.

probably why Vegas has the game off the board at the moment, I was able to load up on purple +16 offshore though.
