Cypress Lake State park has a nice camp ground. Also a small wildlife zoo which is cool.

Also good perch fishin all around that area.

Thermacell lanterns in the tent/right outside the tent have worked well for me in the past.

I have never seen any evidence that these do anything beneficial.

Bodcau or Dorcheat.

Dorcheat used to have some nice hidden little places East of the bridge.

Wife and I. Y'all wanna come. We are just going like sat. Afternoon and headed back in Sunday. We just bought a 6 man tent with a screened in porch.

Been a looong time but there used to be a catfish restaurant. Cross the bridge, walk and there were a whole lot of little trails back up in there we used to hunt and camp.

Bayou Inn.

There's a bunch of old gravel pits in that area. It's not all public though.
