Very, no.
But I agree to a degree. I think he will be an NFL great.

I don't understand why they don't use the other guy's camera angle in that last clip. Him screaming at the top of his lungs "Let's go!" is one of the most intense shots I've seen in football.

I would love him on the Ravens, especially with the whole Rice fiasco going on.

I can't remember a RB breaking off as many huge yardage runs for TDs as him. It seems like he broke a big run for a TD every game and those highlights just reinforced that. He will be missed.

Most LSU fans.
Take a poll of the best RB's in LSU history, and he will, in almost all cases, come in behind Hilliard, Faulk, Cannon, Alexander. Depending on the ah, makeup of the person answering I've heard him come in behind Hester. This 2013 season was, in almost every statistical way, the greatest season ever by an LSU back, and it largely went unappreciated by our own fans.
The why is easier. Far too many fans were/are holding on to his two off the field incidences and refused to give the kid earned praise for his stellar play on the field.
I was 12 when Hilliard got to LSU in 1982. I remember Alexander barely. I obviously saw Harvey Williams, and Faulk and everyone since. I only saw guys before Alexander in film. For my money, Hill is the best pound for pound running back LSU has ever put on the field. Not all around back like Faulk...but running back. While Hilliard will always be #1 in my heart because of my age when he broke in and my sheer love of his running style, there's no question I'd start Hill over him if I had to make that call today.
Fournette may prove to be even better...but he's got MUCH bigger cleats to fill than many LSU fans think.

One more year would have made the talk about the top RBs in Lsu history very interesting. It's the era we live in though, no one in his cleats would have stayed for another, just saying with the RB by committee approach Lsu takes, and the NFL contracts, great 4 yr backs are long gone.

This, +1,000,000; LF has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see him out there. But, I do agree that we, the fans, take Hill's performance for granted a bit. I think we have to temper our expectations a bit and not assume LF will just easily replicate or surpass Hill's great production.
Can't wait to watch Hill at the next level.

Guy was fun to watch! Too bad it was short lived!

My favorite LSU RB of this millennium not named Stevan Ridley
And he essentially played 3 quarters total out of the first three games.
There were times where he would sit out entire quarters during the season and he still finished with over 1400 in the SEC. Crazy thing is, Fournette could legitimately match that next year, going strictly off what top rated true freshman RBs have done since 2010.

Will be the best running back in the NFL in 3 years.
