disturbing the peace? in his own home? LOL

didn't see him attack the officer either so I don't get the battery charge.

I guess he is rightfully charged with resisting a bullshite arrest after the cop barged his way into the apartment.

from FB, from the guy's daughter who called the cops

quote:

I would actually. See this is only PART of what happened. The cops were called because my dad politely asked the guy to watch his language around my mother( cursing is one thing, yeah everyone does it, but he was going on and on for a good 10 minutes every other word being a curse word) yes you have freedom of speech but you should still be respectful ( especially when you are visiting a friends house and you are outside on the porch for everyone to hear) So he started cursing out my dad and mom. The cops were called because the guy started to become hostile. What you Dont see on that video is where the cop walked up and spoke with both of the guys for a good 2 minutes. The cop asked the man for his ID and the man took off inside and as the cop went after him the man was slamming the cop in the and that's when they started recording
.

quote:

Do I agree some policemen get out of line sometimes well yeah I'm sure they do. Do I think this one did? Absolutely not. Like I said the man getting arrested was slamming the cop in the door forcefully. If you ask someone for Identification and they take off running to go in a house my first thought would be "oh crap they might be going to get a gun" or maybe they are trying to hide something. So I think the cop handled the fact that the man was resisting arrest very well. He was trying to contain him to make sure he couldn't harm him(the cop) or anyone outside. That guy was not afraid if you ask me the whole "I'm scared thing" and "please don't shoot me" was fake. The cop was reaching to press his button for back up. It just upsets me that the cop really wasn't hurting him at all and he was over reacting intentionally to make the cop look bad so they could video it and send it to the news. Ridiculous.

I fricking hate loud neighbors. Maybe that guy and the cop and just go blow each in a cell for both being douches.

I thought everything was obvious from partial videos.

You're free to stop talking and walk away at any point. The only ID you have to provide is a name. The guy committed no crimes, however the cop certainly did.

well, when the video is the only evidence to use (prior to Lester posting the fb shite) are you supposed to assume something else happened when you really have no clue?

Did the officer have enough proof to make an arrest?

Is that not assault? Remember, this was before the cop touched him.

I made a comment based on the evidence presented. more evidence came out that contradicted the video and I adjusted my opinion accordingly.

I've done a fair amount of both bashing and supporting cops when the evidence supports either side.
