Did he graduate? It can't be a playing time issue.

Maybe he got caught up in the numbers game? I really liked his potential and his intensity when he was on the field. Dang...

Hunter had clearly passed him.

And it sounds like Bower has as well. With Lewis Neal looking good too.

Wish him all the best.

What numbers game? We're like 5 guys under the 85 man limit and he's in the regular DE rotation.

This is perfectly normal because it's LSU.

No idea, but it was posted on 247 about 4 days ago that he was gone, and it was deleted. So its obviously something that won't leak out, IMO

While no D-lineman had a good season (maybe Ego), Allen certainly didn't have a horrible season. You would expect with the lack of experience on the D-Line this season, Allen would have had a spot in the 2 man rotation (maybe starting).

The (small) optimistic part of me says that his decision to transfer means that the young guys from the 2013 recruiting class are ready to go. They have to be, because IMO, LSU's success this year rides on the play of the D-Line. Poor D-Line play = 7 or 8 win season. Good D-Line play = LSU having a chance to win every game they play.

These guys come in here thinking they can play early and start when they could have been doing that early on at smaller schools instead of wasting their time.
