Great movie
I had no clue CF could actually act
All these dark british thriller-comedies arent disappointing after i recently started on all the Guy Richie movies. This was obviously much slower than his films but i like me a good slow paced movie.
I dont know shite about Bruges but all the shite They were talking about it had me rolling

My friend stopped by there this past December and enjoyed it.

Ray: The view of what? The view of down here? I can see that down here
. Ken: Ray, you are about the worst tourist in the whole world
. Ray: Ken, I grew up in Dublin. I love Dublin. If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me but I didn't, so it doesn't.

I had to pause the movie right here to finish laughing

Ken: Harry, let's face it. And I'm not being funny. I mean no disrespect, but you're a count. You're a count now, and you've always been a count. And the only thing that's going to change is that you're going to be an even bigger count. Maybe have some more count kids.
Harry: [furious] Leave my kids fricking out of it! What have they done? You fricking retract that bit about my count fricking kids!
Ken: I retract that bit about your count fricking kids.
Harry: Insult my fricking kids? That's going overboard, mate!
Ken: I retracted it, didn't I?

The interaction with American tourists is rather on point.

The best part of that is at the end when the belltower is closed because there was a heart attack on the tower the day before

Excellent movie. The race war discussion with the midget is classic.

Colin f was hilarious the whole movie. I thought the ending was a bit much for a semi comedy.

Ehh i think it was fairly serious throughout at moments and if it didnt end that way, some of the other moments in the movie (him trying to kill himself and him killing the kid) might of seemed out of place
I thought they mixed in the comedy and darkness of it perfectly in that last monologue
