There's a daily special at South of Philly for 5.99 for a small sub (different one each day), a ton of fries, and a drink. It's a steal.

For those that were waiting in suspense, I ended up skipping lunch today. Planning on trying all the recommendations soon. Can somebody tell me about Nooleys? It's right down the road from me.

I've heard good things. Friends of mine from high school work there or used to work there. One of the owners posts here on occasion. I've never been because it's just a little too far from where I work and more than a little out of the way from my parents' house and no where close to my apartment.
