All five seasons in a multi-week binge (I do have a job and a life). But now it is over. I miss Olivia and Peter and Walter and Astrid and Nina and Lincoln and Philip Broyles and September...

One of the best shows front to back that I've ever seen. The low points are few and far between, there's a story that NEVER goes off track, and a great overall arc. Just quality entertainment.

I always said that the lack of discussion when Fringe was on was due to the story being so well told. There are no "holes" to analyze, no red herrings to chase. No debates about readers and watchers and the inherent quality in each. And really no terrible characters or morals present.

It was, simply put, just great and consistent. Certainly under-appreciated for its merits though.

The only question that was on my mind at the end was if Walter and the boy were successful and the future was changed and the Observers/Overlords were no longer factors and in fact, sort of ceased to exist, how could (non-existent) September have saved Walter and Peter in that icy water as they made their way from the alternate universe? They would have, for all intents and purposes, drowned in the past. And so no Peter to marry Olivia, no Etta to be born to them or be killed by Windmark, no Walter to go on that mission to the future with the boy.

Freauxzen, do you have any ideas about this?

You rang?

There are holes that could be debated. Anytime you use time travel, it opens up potential for plot holes.

The lack of debate had to do with nobody watching the show during the original run.

Having said that, I loved the show and think Noble was robbed because all award shows tend to frown on Sci-Fi and Fantasy. He clearly should have been nominated for Walter.

I liked it from start to finish although I wasn't a huge fan of the finale and the fight choreography at the end was very weak and borderline bizarre.

Yes. And the Overlords/Observers were some of the creepiest "alien" bad guys, ever.

I love me some Walter Bishop. I just started a re-watch a couple of weeks ago. Almost through season 1. One of my all time favorites.

Windmark was one of the worst bad guys in TV history. I really hated him.

Maybe I should give it another try. I got a couple episodes into the second season and lost interest.
