So who do you believe, this administration or a non profit research group?

The RAND study, which has not been published – only the Los Angeles Times has seen it – found that just 23 per cent of new enrollees had no insurance before signing up.
And of those newly insured Americans, just 53 per cent have paid their first month's premiums.
If those numbers hold, the actual net gain of paid policies among Americans who lacked medical insurance in the pre-Obamacare days would be just 858,298.

That's damning for the administration if true.

Seems extremely low, but is definitely more believable than the BS 9 million claim.

This is newly insured.
It isn't out of the realm of possibility, espeically with so many individuals being a part of the ACA due to medicaid expansion.
And those that actually paid dues.
It's pretty clear the administration is lying to us, but we all knew (and expected that).

Not really... Its about on par what I had estimated 2 weeks ago by using two different surveys. One of which has % of newly enrolled and the other that had % that have actually paid.
It was 580k at the beginning of March w/ 5.5m "Enrolled"

One of obama's "letters from an American" said she was a bartender, the only time she's had health insurance was a couple times through planned parenthood. Wow.

What happened to the 30+ million we heard about everyday for nearly two years before this joker was passed?
How can anyone defend this shite law?
I gave up defending the Bush after a certain point, these libs don't give up. I guess because the media pushes their agenda

That's irrelevant to the discussion... I'll admit even with a perfect execution of a perfect law, there was no way in hell they were getting everyone covered that quickly or ever.

Not sure which one I hate the most. Biden or Obama.

They have been creating this speech for weeks

Is it? It was sold to us by saying it insures the uninsured, and those who have it and like can keep it. Neither is true
Even if it's the 9 million the administration is claiming
Just funny how you don't hear the 30 million number everyday. They brag about 6-9 million

That 9 million counts something like 4 million new Medicaid enrollees and 2.5 million under-26 year olds who get to stay on their parents coverage. So 9 million enrollees is probably correct just skewed.

At this point, it's easier to just list the few true things he's said.
