I was thinking about this today when I was looking at my satsuma and lemon trees that were loaded with buds. I remember seeing a recipe in a John Besh cookbook for fried citrus flowers, but don't know anyone who has actually tried it.

Last summer my squash produced an over abundance of blossoms so I pulled them and fried them up at a party. They were delicious and a hit. I'm liking forward to doing it again.

Hmmm......did you fry them prior to opening up? What gave you the idea to do that?

Zucchini blossoms have been a trendy thing long enough that they are probably on their way out.
