Makes no sense that hookers are viewed as much worse than sluts. Who is more respected: professionals or amateurs in most disciplines? Music and the arts etc. If you get paid to do art you're brilliant. Why not with sex?

I respect strippers, and high end escorts and porn stars IF they manage their money.
Hell, I'm a bit jealous of the ones that do and make bank and become millionaires by having sex.
Knew one stripper I ran into a couple of years ago that I had met 10 years ago. She owns 11 rental properties now and pulls in 6 figures from sitting around collecting rent. All from stripping which she is "retired" from at 32 years old.

A hooker is a prostitute. There's pretty clear criteria for what it takes for someone to be classified as a prostitute.
There's no criteria to know what encompasses a slut. It's arbitrary. Totally a judgement call, and the definition varies immensely.

Sluts bang random dudes sometimes.
Hookers get paid to be choked while a guy spits in their face and punches them while doing all sorts of other degrading acts usually involving crack and meth and eventually losing all self respect and any sense of morals or integrity.
