Pretty good move IMO to bring in a big name for opening season.

I´d hesitate in sending my worst enemy to live in Orlando.

I´m having a hard enough time with Atlanta. Orlando´s straight up suicide material.

It's good for the league in terms of getting a player that was one of the best in the game not all too long ago, but I really don't like the thought of the MLS becoming more and more of a "retirement league" for over-the-hill foreign stars.

One has to start somewhere.

How is MLS becoming more and more like a retirement league for foreign stars? If anything, MLS is becoming less like a retirement league for foreign stars because we're no longer desperate for anyone who wants to come over, e.g., Abel Xavier and Denilson.

in a manner of speaking, yes. you're talking about a league that's less than 20 years old.

Italia is at the World Showcase in Epcot if Kaka ever feels homesick. I'm sure that helped seal the deal.

Kaka

watched the AC Milán 2006 CL debacle.

Funny how all the limey announcers call him ´CAca´ (shite), instead of ´caCA´.
