A few freinds and I are going to New Orleans Saturday. Anybody know any good places to stay and eat?

Luiza's by the Track. Best ettoufee(sp?) I've ever had.
Also they have a BBQ shrimp poboy that's stuffed in hollowed out bread.
Eta: Mother's downtown, get the Ferdi Special. If you brag to your friends about anything its that you ate there.

What kind of food are you looking for? Burger from High Hat or Cowbell would be good. Fries from Avenue Pub are awesome (best beer spot in the city, too). Parkway has great poboys.

You might could get one for under $90 Kenner this time of the year on the weekends.
From Feb thru May in N.O. is expensive arse hotel times, especially weekends.
Go the food board and spell out what kind of restaurants you want to visit. If not you will end up at Ralph and Kakoos or Oceana.

Wrestlemania weekend? Going to be slammed packed down there. Hotel prices have skyrocketed all over the city and most are booked.
