To what extent are college coaches allowed to make contact with high school players during the baseball season? How many of you have seen any LSU coaches at local high school baseball games? Can the LSU head coach attend high school baseball games? If the answer to question 3 is yes, how many of you have seen Coach PM at a high school baseball game ?

Coaches are rarely at games during the high school season, head coaches are never at games in season. They are focused on their current team. Asst coaches occasionally get out to some high school games, but most of the recruiting is done with the help of pro scouts, and by the coaches seeing the kids in the summer.

Recruiting in College Baseball is tough because you are up against MLB. You can sign a really good Class and have the best kids end up in MLB.

not sure about calls/texts, but outside of football, the vast majority of personal viewing of prospects comes in aau/travel teams/year round competition. not within the high school/collegiate season.

Javi goes to high school games all of the time. It is very rare that head coaches attend high school games.

That would be my expectation as well. Good prospects are playing basically year round anyway in various amateur leagues.
