Baseball parents raise money, buy bleachers and scoreboard. Parents go out and install everything themselves to save money.
Softball parents complain that bleachers are nicer than what they have. U.S. Department of Education orders school to tear down baseball bleachers.
This everybody gets a trophy syndrome has hit an all time high. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. And why the hell is a cabinet level position (that needs to be eliminated) getting involved in this?

That's basically the income inequality argument in a nutshell.

The parents were not skilled labor from the local union shop, as such the safety of attendees because of incompetence.
B-ball games attendees were threatened and a task force would have been required when structural failure occurred.

Yup.
Instead of the softball parents actually doing something for themselves and bringing themselves up to the level of the baseball parents (bleachers)....they bring the baseball parents (bleachers) down to their level....because it's not fair
Perfect example of a gigantic problem in this country. People are too damn lazy to achieve success so they take it from others instead.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. (WJBK) - A new set of seating is being torn down outside the Plymouth Wildcats varsity boys' baseball field, not long before the season begins, because the fields for boys' and girls' athletics must be equal.
A group of parents raised money for a raised seating deck by the field, as it was hard to see the games through a chain-link fence. The parents even did the installation themselves, and also paid for a new scoreboard.
But, after a complaint, the U.S Education Department's Office for Civil Rights investigated the new addition and says it must be torn down. It says the facility was no longer equal to the girls' softball field next door, which has old bleachers and an old scoreboard.
The school agreed to take the seats down after receiving a citation. The seating was also not handicapped accessible.
The superintendent says the seats and materials will be stored until they can form a plan that complies with the rules and is fair to everyone. He adds the money is not available to build a similar seating deck at the girls' field, but their field will be getting a new scoreboard.
Wow. Just wow.
Don't know whether to

U.S Education Department's Office for Civil Rights
When I was a kid there was no such thing as the Dept. of Education. There is no need for it's existence.
However, I did not know they they have now subdivided into an Office of Civil Rights.
The next thing will be subdividing into an Office of Discrimination against people who cannot turn left. Non-Ambi-turners.

This is why thou shalt not covet made the top Ten Commandments. Anytime you hear the phrase income inequality it's code for "I want my neighbor's stuff without having to work for it. And if I can't have it, he shouldn't either."

It's actually not.
But it is the perception of the inequality argument in a nutshell.

Lawyers and government stupidity have have eliminated common sense here in America. At one time here in America, common sense ruled. Now there is no such thing as 'common' or unified thought nor is 'sense' factored into a situation.

Washington DC - if there was ever a time for a city to be eliminated it is now.

It's basically a "If I can't get have the stuff that you've worked hard to earn, you shouldn't be able to have it either because it's unfair".
It's a liberal argument if I've ever heard one.
