Homeowners with Centauri Specialty Insurance . Any problems?

They are the cheapest around and their deductibles are very small. I had never heard of them so I wouldn't use them and stayed with State Farm.

They like to write cheap then come in at renewal and exclude your roof if its aging

I pay $2,400.OO a year. I have them because Farmers Ins. left Louisiana as far as homeonwers Ins.

I shopped around and State Farm was cheaper than everyone but Centauri who I wouldn't trust. I can risk a 5% deductible. Got $1600 a year for a $400k house.

They dropped me in January bc I wouldn't get flood insurance. I'm in flood zone x and I didn't want the extra expense of flood insurance
