He may be gone but not to the NBA. Do not know if he is NBA material yet.

Why risk possibly going late second. Better have a damn good back up plan.

Lots of underclassmen who were not expected to go have announced they are entering the draft. He will have a tough time getting drafted at all...

I agree he won't be a high draft pick but I'd be shocked if he stays. He can't improve his stock much more and he considered leaving last year. He gone.

True, but if one is smart enough to have a good back up plan, they're probably smart enough to stay for one more year.

No, he probably can't improve his stock much. There are a lot of things that he CAN do, though. It's hard to follow the thought process of some of these kids.

I think that really is the bottom line with JOB 3.

I clicked on some draft sites. CBS had 3 "draft experts" who put out their projections for the 2 rounds.

Two had JOB3 mid second round and one had him undrafted. One had Mickey at 51 and none of the 3 had Martin.

I would think Martin and Mickey could both improve their stock but I think at this point JOB3 has probably improved his stock as much as he can. I think if he came back he'd likely still be projected around the same at the end of next year.

Conditioning is a huge concern for scouts, so I have read. If he dedicates himself to getting into great shape, along with improving that 12-15 foot elbow extended jumper + 5-7% points on his free throw average ( all doable with hardwork) He is/can be a first round talent.

I think that unless I am guaranteed a contract in the NBA (in which second rounders are not) I would work hard to receive my degree.

If lsu is able to retain him + mickey ... I think we will be playing late into march next season which = tons of exposure.

I would be shocked if he isn't going to declare. If he got the right team and coach and works hard, I could see him playing four or five years and making quite a bit of money.

Whether it was done deliberately, as a condition for him coming back this year, or not, his abilities were given a showcase all this season. Unless he showed a lot of improvement in the off season, I don't see how he could improve his draft chances by playing another year.
