I say it all the time but Yankee Marshall sums it up very well:

Women and Guns

Show this to your significant others, friends, or family members.

Just this week an armed robbery was prevented by a female who was concealed carrying her glock at a DART location in Dallas.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest here..

I know quite a few women with CCP that shouldn't have them because they are risk to the general public.

There, I said it and don't regret it.

Then again, I could say the same thing about few gentlemen I know.

Biff, sadly that is true with pretty much anything. I am not a fan of increased gun control but I would be in favor of increased proficiency requirements for CCL and CCL only.

I will agree with you when your speculation turns to fact. I feel the same way about constitutional carry. My mind says "maybe" but facts say "yes."

I see it all the time.

And I agree with BP in wishing (although it'll never happen) that the legislature would make the permit requirements more demanding.

I agree with you, but stricter requirements is more gun control.

But at least people like my mom who wants a CCP to,"shoot any thug who is gonna mess with her", would almost assuredly never past the test till they are proficient with a firearm.
