Those books would scare the shite outta me. Especially the illustrations....

I read an article that they were going to re-release them with all new drawings. However, the new drawings weren't nearly as terrifying.

I loved them. The audio version was quality stuff, too.

My family went to Disney World when I was about 8. My mom gave me some cash to roam around and maybe get myself a souvenir. What did I leave with? This audio book on tape.

It's a damn shame about them changing the art, too. That was the best part.
