I actually knew most of these, but this one blew my mind:
quote:

Ask Siri, “What flights are above me?” or just say, “Planes overhead,” and she’ll pull up a chart featuring each plane’s flight number, its altitude, and its angle. (It took my Siri about 30 seconds to pull up this data, so be patient!)

It also shows a neat little sky map, which the screenshot in the article doesn't show.

I did it right when I read it, and it worked for me.

Yeah, this alone was worth reading the article.

thats just exaggerated. of course ur phone will charge faster if it isn't connected to wifi/bluetooth/network. but not twice as fast

quote:

With Airplane Mode turned off, I was able to charge from 1 percent to 25 percent charge in 21 minutes. Reaching a 50 percent charge took 45 minutes. Getting to a 95 percent charge took one hour and 32 minutes.

Not too bad. Now it was time to try it with Airplane Mode enabled. Needless to say, my expectations where high.

With Airplane Mode activated, I was able to get to a 25 percent charge in 18 minutes and a 50 percent charge in about 43 minutes. I was able to get a 95 percent charge in one hour 29 minutes.

what it really means is "charging twice as fast compared to when you have wifi/bluetooth/network on.

because all those things suck battery life

Either way. There's been times where I need to get as much charge as possible and this would be very helpful.

Many of them are iOS 7 features, so anyone who hasn't updated won't have those features. Myself, included. I know what Apple does to older model iPhone/iPads when it comes to new iOS versions, so I'm keeping iOS 5 on my 4s.
