Car Registration renewal in Louisiana question

Do they not automatically send you the sticker anymore?
I just realized my registration expires at the end of this month. Nothing has come in the mail though. Do I have to do something online now or am I mistaken?
Just curious if anyone knows before I go to the dmv or try call them tomorrow

Wife just received her fee in the mail yesterday. Pay the 55$ and they'll send you the sticker.

Not sure how she handled it. She normally takes care of mine too so I wouldn't know specifics. Just know that when it's time they send the fee in the mail, pay it, shortly after the sticker comes in.
I thought 55$ was a hike. I could have sworn it was only 45$ last time I renewed.

It's based on the value of your vehicle. They do a percentage.
You renew every year. This year mine was like $50....for my 2001 Maxima.

Just asked my husband....he thinks his was like $300-400 this year for his new Jeep.

I renewed mine online last week-- $22.
And you can't renew online unless you have the renewal number from the mailing they send you. If you didn't get the mailing you have to go to the DMV.

same here in MS...quite a sticker shock for me when I moved here...
I think it was like $12 per year in Louisiana and in went up to about $400 per year on my truck...
company got me a new durango and the tags cost around a thousand bucks per year....glad I don't have to pay that one...

Thats correct you must receive a renewal in the mail to it online. Just go to any title place and bypass the wait at the dmv.

You more than likely have a flag on your license for one reason or another, otherwise you would have gotten it in the mail by now.
