Need help here, I'm no expert on Pro Football Hall of fame, but do we have any that may make it in next decade. That we only have three in now and given our football history (especially last 15 years or so), I have to think we will get some in coming years, those who know, help me here

Mawae- assume he is sure thing for HOF, right?

Faulk- does he get in.? 3600 yards rushing, 3700 receiving, 3 rings, 31 td's? Lots of Pats from those years will get in, will he? 50-50

Dalton Hilliard- 4164 yr, 2200 yr, 64 td's! but played on mostly weak teams...

Eric Martin- for my money best hands in LSU history and saints history and if he played today he would be HOF for sure possesion recevier who was tough. 8,200 yards, 49 td's, which is in line with Lynn Swan, but again, playing for Saints and no rings does not help.

So who else has a shot, Corey Webster, Kennison (number above 8,000 yards, McClure- 13 years, Loenard Marshall, Eric Hill)

Bowe has a shot if he keeps playing for 6-8 more years, but who else?

Thanks,

Mawae and McClure are the only ones you mentioned who could make it. Others you mentioned had good to great careers, but not HOF-caliber.

Maybe Kyle Williams somewhere down the line if he keeps this up?

Faulk has no shot.

I disagree, he is already in Patriots hall and was known as a team leader on teams that won 4 super bowls. His stats are very good as well. Maybe a 50-50 shot, Lynn Swann got in mostly becuase of the teams he played on- his stats were not great..same can be said for KF.

Apples to oranges. Completely different eras. Faulk was one of my childhood idols and was an important piece on those Patriot teams, but he has zero shot at the Hall of Fame.

Faulk is nowhere near a hall of fame possibility

Pats hall of fame maybe, but the NFL hall of fame he has no shot

This is the only acceptable answer. Mawae will probably get in, Faneca maybe should but probably won't.

Then take your purple and gold glasses off

he is already in Patriots hall

Completely Irrelevant

was known as a team leader

Theres lots of those, and the Hall doesnt care. You want to put Mike Izzo in the hall too?

His stats are very good as well

Define "very good"

Maybe a 50-50 shot

He has less than a 2 percent shot to make the ballet.

Lynn Swann started and made iconic superbowl plays that will be replayed for years to come and played in a completely different era

You cant tell the story of the NFL without talking about Lynn Swann. The same cant be said about Kevin.

And im not trying to knock Faulk, one of my favorite Tigers/Patriots ever...,but you need to come back to reality.

Mawae and Faneca are Locks IMO. No one else is even in sniffing distance.

Todd McClure is the next on the list but wont make it without the postseason accolades.

No receiver is getting in for a while. Hell Andre Reed just got in finally.

PP7 is in good shape so far but three seasons in, its hard to make any sort of prediction.

Never made a Pro Bowl, which is shocking to me. When I think back on his career, I think of it as damn near Hall of Fame caliber. Hell, he started I think every game but 1 or 2 at C for 12 years. Goddamn impressive.

That said, having never been voted to the Pro Bowl, All-Pro or having Postseason success, there is no way in hell he makes the Hall.
