By Chef MD at Bistro Meridian.

An exclusive private dining establishment. I eat there all the time.

Great place.

Old posts. BBQ Brisket and Honey Mustard Pork.

They are here

I am 100% certain I have the best BBQ in the tiny pond called Meridian.

I have eaten at some of the places listed in the article. Good BBQ - I am certain at all of them.

Now I'm trying to decide if I ever had a BBQ sandwich that I didn't finish...

Nope - Likely enjoyed something about all of them, even wet yellow and white sauce BBQ has good qualities.

If a place is open for any length of time, there must be something they are doing worth trying.

And it is perfectly fine for anyone to decide they like their BBQ best.

Aaron Franklin gets tons of love, but they deserve it for the Tipsy Texan

say you are going in 2 months. Place a minimum $50 (i believe) order online, and they will give you a 15-minute window to pick it up without having to wait in line.

Petty’s BBQ
Where: Starkville, Mississippi; 662-324-2363
What to order: BBQ Grilled Cheese Sandwich (pictured above). Hickory-smoked pork is shoehorned with lettuce and American cheese between two slices of Texas toast and then grilled.

Some of those sandwiches looked pretty bad

I've had Heirloom and Southern Soul, both are fine establishments. However the best "BBQ Sandwich" in GA imho is the fox burger at fox brothers.
