Sick of the basketball negativity

Im sick of the negativity on this board that rolls out when we lose and posters crawl out never to be seen from after wins. Jones took over a program where a walk on tuba player saw significant minutes. That is pathetic. Did I expect more this year than we got? Sure. But we got 20 wins and post season play. Rome wasnt built in a day. Give it some time fellas.

This may have been my last game covering here because there's just too many people with too much uneducated negativity.
We shall see, but it isn't easy on anyone when people bring the negativity here like some people do.
Everyone can have their opinion, but it's easy to say things behind a screen name.

but, but, but it's basketball, we should be National title contenders THREE years after winning fricking 3 SEC games all season... It shouldn't take time to turn it around at a basketball power like LSU.

I agree with you Adam banks.
I'd like to curb stomp these twits that want the coach fired ect ect. I see progress. Did I want more sooner? Yes. I am smart enough to see a change. And JJ will shore up some x and o stuff. Look to see aa him bring on some help in that department. He's a smart man. I'm have faith he will make some adjustments.

This. People forget we were losing games with scores in the low 40's before JJ got here.
The talent is here and I trust him enough to think he will bring in some coaching assistance as well.

i can see how it would be tough, i really feel we loaded up too much expectations on this team early on
its clear now that talent doesn't necessarily mean big results right off the bat, especially with the SEC getting better like it did this year (no one wants to talk about that)
i think JJ has us heading in the right direction, im frustrated right now but still optimistic

It's the signs of things to come that have some worried. Talented rosters that are poorly coached.

Agreed. SoS your efforts are never taken for granted. This was most likely my final season in Baton Rouge for the foreseeable future and would love to continue to read the previews and write-ups from elsewhere

It's just frustrating. Everyone who posts here should know it's just like saying things straight to these guys faces. They all look here or hear about it.
They are kids who have worked their arse off this year.
I will likely be back to do more of the same next year, but it's nights like this where LSU played a pretty good game and definitely never gave up and people just act like we played miserable. This is a very impressive SMU team.

Sooo one year is a trend? They weren't horribly coached last year...
I'll play devil's advocate, Trent should still be coaching this team if we based it off his first season.
