Deep Fried Cheesecake...

Seems to be the new thing. I gave it a try and didn't get it. Saw it featured at another place so I decided maybe it was just the first place. Nope. Seems pointless to me. Takes away all the taste and thick consistency that makes cheesecake cheesecake and turns into flavorless mush in your mouth, mostly over powered by the batter.

Thoughts?

Overuse of fat at flour imho.

Impress me with a delicate dessert, a subtle essence, or a flaky pastry.

My thoughts are that when I hear the word "Fried" the very first thing that I think is that someone couldn't figure out anything interesting or tasty to do with it, and so they just fried it instead.
