Which college football player did you predict was going to shine, but didn't?

Ryan Moats. I remember saying he was going to be the next Marshall Faulk and a steal for the Eagles who took him in the 3rd round.

Career stats for 5 years in league;

Carries 204
Rushing yards 831
Rush avg. 4.1
Rushing TDs 8

Trent was considering much more of a lock IMO, especially after getting traded to a team with an actual NFL QB.

I remember being excited when the Saints drafted Troy Davis out of Iowa State.

he had put up big numbers in college.

I don't know if I predicted he would be good but I felt like he had a chance to do something...

I was WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG.

Jake Plummer
Tyron Calico
Amp Lee (was thinking he might at least be a poor man's Roger Craig for the 49ers)

Dominique Rodgers Cromartie, though he hasn't been what I thought he could be, still young enough to break into the star that all his physical attributes say he can be.

He was every bit of a lock-down corner for Denver in 2013, and performed as a top 5 cornerback in the NFL.

Career wise, he has been "meh"...

Reggie Bush. At least not to the level most thought he would.

Charles Rogers. He was such a beast in college. Unfortunately, injuries and drugs did him in.

I remember Amp Lee at F$U.

I thought Greg Jones would do well too.

David LaFleur - TE

Aikman worked out with Tony Gonzales and LaFleur before the draft. Dallas picked LaFleur in the 1st round and it was downhill from there.

Danny Wuerffel. As a young sports fan I couldn't imagine how someone could be so dominant in college and not be fit for the NFL.

I have a friend that adamantly projected Ryan Leaf would be better than Manning.
