Don't throw eggs.

I ask because I know some folks at SMU talking a lot of shite about how they are not going to let Tiger fans take up a big section together and they think only about 100 show up anyways.

How many Tiger fans are expected you think?

No way.

Less than 100 and they won't sit together and they won't be noticed on tv

Expectations are set way higher than 100.

their message board seems to think 500+. some even say 1000.

I doubt it, but that's what SMU fans are saying, not LSU fans

What's funny?

There are a ton of DFW alums that dont have the opportunity to watch LSU often. I've had a lot of people tell me they are going.

Yea I wouldn't be surprised if it was a decent turnout.

I'm assuming the people who are saying we will have 100 people there are not following anything. It's pretty well known we have enough to already fill up an entire section on our own. Throw in the fact that Jordan Mickey said he's got somewhere in the range of 30-40 people coming just to see him...I'm gonna say 600-700.

Many people don't care about the NIT, but it's well known SMU probably should have been in the tourney, and LSU is extremely talented. This is a great NIT game and will have a electric atmosphere.

But no way we sit in the section we had planned on. My guess is many SMU fans will immediately go to that section to clog it up.

I read the post on the SMU board that we had bought 1000 tickets.

Anyone know how early we'll need to arrive to get a decent seat in the general admission seating?

This is about as good of an NIT game as you will find. Alot of talking heads have talked about being excited for this one. Two very interesting up-and-coming programs going head to head.

LSU has recruited very, very well in Dallas area since Jones has come to LSU and it will be another opportunity to have our name out there. Jordan Mickey already, Elbert Robinson next year, and we are working on 5* Elijah Thomas who is Jordan Mickey's cousin and in the 2015 class.

Elijah Thomas will be at the game tonight.

If this game was played in Houston, LSU would have the majority. Dallas still has a good bit of LSU fans.

Honestly, doors open at 6:30 and me personally, that's when I would get there. But I hate feeling rushed or having a shitty seat. Hopefully there are a decent amount of LSU people that get there at that time and y'all can sit together.

People talk about saving seats, but it's easier to save seats if there are 100 people there to begin with compared to 30. 100 people can save 200 seats a lot easier than 30 can save 250, if that makes sense.

That's earlier than I thought. I hope there are still a few seats together when I get there.

I've heard from others who have gone to games this year that the arena is so small, it's hard to find a bad seat. Last time I was there (was a while ago and) there were maybe 500 to 1000 fans in the whole place. We could sit where we wanted.
