Hello everyone! What time are you planning on getting to the stadium? I'm trying to figure out a good time to get there.
Thanks.

Heading to the bars for a power hour straight from work, would like to be seated by tip-off but can't make any promises

Doors open at 6:30.

If you are GA then I'd suggest not waiting all that long after that. The more LSU fans that get there early the better. SMU fans are scared about the idea of LSU getting a section to their selves and I've heard they are telling their GA ticket holders to get their early so LSU fans have to spread out.

Jordy had someone on that covers SMU hoops this morning to talk about the game and he indicated people would probably show up around 5 for GA seating.

I will be watching the game and rooting for the Tigers but I have a hard time believing people are going to show up 3 hrs before a NIT game on a workday.

At least they sell beer there. I think 6:30 is reasonable.

Been reading a good bit on PonyFans.com and they seem pretty worried about an LSU takeover.

Some are predicting around 400 others more than 1500. Any guesses?

I'm just telling you what the guy said on Jordy's show - take it for what it's worth. As long as GA guarantees you a seat you should be ok but the earlier you get there the better seat you will get and particularly if you want to sit with a bunch of LSU fans in a 7000 seat arena.

Will likely cost you less than a ticket to this game. I just had a friend text me that he had to pay over $100 for his ticket for tonight. Crazyness ensuing tonight.

Does anyone else find it pathetic that the LSU fans in the DFW area are doing everything they can to show up for what is nothing more than a consolation tournament, while "fans" back in the BR area can't find the time to show up for much more meaningful regular season games?

No. Lot's of LSU fans in DFW + not able to see them live during the year = a lot of interested LSU alumni in DFW.
