Was the tits. The premise is absolutely absurd (a train circling a frozen Eart protects the last living humans from the cold, a result from a failed experiment to stop global warming). Seemed like it would be a B movie all the way, but it had a solid cast and I'm a big fan of the director's previous work, so I checked it out earlier. After a bit of a slow start, it has plenty of great action scenes and plenty of dark humor (Tilda Swinton and Alison Pill in particular stand out). If you liked Dredd or The Raid: Redemption, you should like this one.

A friend of mine is in this and he says it's amazing, but I figured he was saying that only because he's in it.

It's up on primewire. Just saw on IMDB that it doesn't come out in the US until late June. I wouldn't wait that long. Go see it again in the theater if you feel bad about the pirating.

Just watched it. Great film up until the end, IMO. It's a little confusing and it had no real closure. I understand this movie was more about whether or not the current cycle of life, although brutal, is for the better of all humanity. I liked that concept. It had moral questions similar to The Watchmen, Equilibrium, and The Marix. I guess I just wasn't happy with the lack of closure in the ending. The concept of them traveling to different cars of the train was really cool and it had good action scenes. Worth a watch.
Questions.....Spoilers...............
So they wanted to blow up the door but it resulted in blowing up the entire train? And what was the deal with the kid going into the engine?
