Can't decide if I want to sand down the slides and paint them FDE as well

Does it stick as well to plastic as it does to metal? And is there extra prep involved?

Looks nice. Would look nicer if not a Glock...

It may even stick better. Prep included roughing up the frame with some steel wool then soaking it in some degreaser for a minute.

I have a friend that had that exact same color on that exact same gun. Don't have a clue what he sprayed it with ( probably not high quality cerakote) but it started to come off immediately and I still give him shite about his uglier than normal glock.

Very nice. Let us know how the finish holds up. I am interested in doing mine.
Thats one way to get the ever elusive Lipseys FDE 19

The guy that did mine did his 23 frame and slide 18 mo ago. He carries just about everyday abd there's no notable wear.

Bonus pts if anyone can name the subtle difference between these two glocks.

Should have had him cerakote that table while he was at it.
