Figured this would be a good place for my cousin to meet girls. he is in high school ( BRMHS), and he is kind of shy and a loner.

This won't help him. His self-confidence needs to change first.

Well do you guys have any suggestions? He is too old for boy scouts, isn't too good at sports. Im trying to find a good youth group ( he is atheist, but I told him to go for the girls). He isn't having much luck at school.

A shy loner is not going to make friends in BR or Elan Cotillion. Sounds like he needs an attitude change. Being an atheist and going to BRMHS doesn't help.

He's just going have to wait till college. He's not changing over night. Go thru formal rush and make sure he wears khakis shorts and a decent polo.

There are around 4 girls to every boy at BRMHS. He just needs to talk to some girls and ask them out. A lot of teen age boys are too scared of girls.

Private schools > BRMHS
from a social perspective. Hotter girls and easier to meet people. Better parties I might arse from what I remember . Its just that he has one friend and all he does is school and home.

Maybe he really doesn't want to meet girls?

Just google how to talk to chicks or something to help him get started being social.

The cotillion stuff usually needs to start in junior high. It's kinda late. IMHO.

I might just tell him to do soccer or volunteer clubs.

Sorry we only had the real cotillion when I was in high school, BR cotillion was the only one around and people just got over it if they didn't get in, now everyone gets included. We had better than Ezra and metal rose play for parties and they didn't check us at the door for being drunk, which most were. The good old days

He really should approach it like he was writing a research paper on how to be more social and talk to girls. I'm sure he can dig up tons of things to help.

School clubs should be a good way to interact with girls. He should join a bunch then drop down to a few with potential. I used to join everything until year book pictures. Clubs, teams. Whatever.
