Which of the following do you think is the most important issue facing the country as a whole?

Getting the economy going and creating jobs 73%
Controlling immigration 51%
Cutting the deficit and the debt 41%
Reforming welfare to cut benefit dependency 33%
Defending overseas interests 19%
Dealing with crime 15%
Improving schools 15%
Protecting the environment 10%
Other 4%

What is interesting is it's a British Survey.

Perhaps.
OTOH, at a time when we're being fed MSM babble about the merits of foreign socialism, it's interesting to see what concerns those countries actually share with most Americans.

The babble is used to ostracize the American people in a manner that uses, what would be perceived as, their guilt as a weapon against them and make them feel obligated to follow the narrative.

I knew something was up before I read where the poll was taken because I didn't see Obamacare on the list.

I thought maybe it was an opinion poll from 1990 or something like that and you were just showing how little issues have changed.
