Getting on the Craft Beer Can Train

I found myself some Terrapin RecreationAle, which is a tasty session beer. In addition to the Terrapin, I have stocked up in TX with the Karbach Mother-in-Lager and Avery Rascal, but am looking for other offerings in BR/Louisiana. The only Tin Roof I like is the blonde. I would buy cans of Restoration from Abita if they put it out to market. Shiner is always a backup, and haven't had NB yet in a can.
Are there others out there that are trying to embrace the can but have a similar hard time with the same offerings? What are some beers that you would like to see canned next?

Not a fan of cans. I don't like the taste of pheromone man-tit forming plastic.....cans are lined with plastic.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Torpedo can be found in cans.
When in TX, picking up Maui Brewing cans is a must.

Cans are man of the same thing kegs are. Do you drink know Draft beer?

Nope. Cans have a liner made of polymers containing BPA. Kegs are just metal.

So, you wouldn't or won't drink some of the best beers in the country because they are canned?

I'm not trying to be a dick, and I know this will sound like it, but if your appreciation of craft beer is a witbier, blonde, and a lager you're probably not ready for craft beer proper.
And if you only want canned you're definitely up shite creek. Not to say that there aren't good beers canned; there are fantastic beers canned. I just worry about your ability to appreciate them.
My best advice is try a shitload of different styles, regardless of presentation (i.e., draft, can, bottle) and focus on developing a taste for that. You probably won't like IPAs or DIPAs initially. Nonetheless, keep trying them -- there will come a day where you will like one of them. When you do, don't hesitate to resample things you didn't like previously as well as new ones. You might be surprised at the outcome. Conversely, it seems like brown ales and stouts are the logical progression for many people. Then porters. Appreciate their flavors, that opens up a whole different ballpark of discussion.
DISCLAIMER: I have become convinced that people go lagers -> dark beers -> light beers (ETA: by this I mean IPAs, PAs, etc.) in terms of appreciation within the craft beer market

I love beer in cans and mostly pour them into a glass anyway. They just work well with my lifestyle. Between parades, festivals, fishing, free Wednesday concerts, walking the dog, riding my bike, beach trips, etc the cans are clutch. I've been told by serious beer geeks that cans are the best vessel for beer that should be drank in 90 days. I've also been told by a crazy bum at a 7/11 that the aluminum makes you crazy.
All of NOLA's beers are canned you just got to find the fresh stuff. They have a Blonde, Brown, IPA, IIPA, Stout, and soon will have a Red Ale. Also in Mississippi So Pro has cans too. They have an IPA that is my favorite canned IPA available here in LA. I've also heard great things about Great Raft up in Sheveport (basically TX). Haven't got my lips on any yet but looks like they have a few offerings that might fit you plus the cans are kick arse.
I'm going to ice down a bunch of craft cans now for my fishing camp trip this weekend.

Do you always worry about random peoples appreciation for beer? Who cares?

I started not even liking beer and I came into FBD and started using suggestions to try beers. Hell first ones I liked were the stouts and porters, then came Canebrake and it all branched out.

Arrogant Bastard is the only answer.

Go ahead and drink from a can. The hops are giving you more than enough phytoestrogens for man tits anyway.
