1. Adreian Payne- He has a skillset that many NBA teams are looking for. Hes 6'10" and can shoot from deep, maybe not NBA 3 but he does spread the floor. He also hits the glass hard and hustles well. His downside is his defense(too small for centers, less quick than many PF's) and his injury history.
2. Cleanthony Early- Although he is a tweener, I think if used in the right system he can succeed. He's got a variety of ways to score. He can drive, post up, and is good at moving while off-ball. I think he can defend the 3 well, while being to post up. I think playing against poor competition will slow him down especially since he is a senior. His worst attributes are is slight inability to shoot and he is a tweener and they are hard to use.
3. Melvin Ejim- I think he may be the most sure thing of the group but he has a low ceiling. He can get to the rim really well and finishes well. He can shoot if needed, but not often. He plays solid D and hits the board well. He also played in a NBA style system with Hoidberg. I think he can try to take over too much sometimes and may have a hard time being a bench player.
4. Casey Prather- He's a very good finisher but I don't think he's athletic enough to be able to get past defenders with his unwillingness to shoot. He does play good defense and rebounds well but not nearly enough to make up for his lack of shooting. I'm not sure if he will be much more than a bench warmer. I do think he is a smart player that understand how to draw fouls and such, so maybe he can find a role as a bench player. If he learns to shoot, he could be a higher end bench player as I still don't see the athleticism to start.
Looking back on it, I doubt any of these players ever turns out to be much more than a role player. Payne is the only one with a somewhat special skill for his position. Theres a reason why they are all seniors.
