There are lots of 12 year old and younger Americans out there that are going to be future badass American soccer players.

In about 10 years, they will start to arrive.

The US has never developed a true #10. Maybe Pynadath can play that role. He certainly looks like he has the skill set.

I think everyone is just encouraged that we have youth players in these academies. Shows our improvement as a country and where we could be heading. The "going nuts" you are referring to is very toungue in cheek at this point. We all know how much shite can change through the teenage years.

I also think comparing college football to international soccer is a poor analogy. Just having an American player in one of those academies is amazing.
