If you had the choice to go to college (late 20's/early 30's) and didn't have to pay your tuition, what would you choose to major in?

EDIT: Only have high school diploma. Have a solid position at a strong company. May be able to earn full tuition

ETA:

You are too old to put up with the bullshite involved with an engineering degree.

Dont really want to reveal too many details about my current job.

Degree would pretty much serve the purpose of giving my company an ability to say most of their workers have degrees.

I'm just curious what most people would do of they had this opportunity

Really, the only things worthwhile when you are starting from scratch are engineering or acct/econ/finance

Started doing ME when I was 28, and it sucks to be honest. To do engineering, you'd have to intensely teach yourself basic math before starting. I had to do it while taking calculus and physics, and it was not fun.

Eta: Just read your last post. One of the business degrees(other than general business obviously) seems like it would be a perfect fit for you. It is nowhere near as time intensive as engineering

In that case, just go with a basic business degree.

If it's just to add to your company's prestige and won't add value to your employment capability, why not go with something so easy that you can still work while earning good grades without pouring a lot of effort into it?

Because its a free education and I could take as much time as I want to. I would only take 1-2 classes per semester

But part of me is on the same page as you. Since I've been out for so long, what would be an easy degree?
