Bought a decent little outdoor storage/bench from Walmarks. Little problem is that the top won't completely shut so water will be able to get in. Need helping coming up with a mechanism or some way to close to prevent the most amount of water from getting in. Suggestions?[

If it's supposed to close and seal itself, I would return it.

Put caulk around it. Then wrap duct tape around it several times. That should seal it.

Take that POS back and get a good one from somewhere other than Walmarks. Nothing is going to solve an issue with fricked up extruded plastic.

or

Or, see if you can get a hold of a heat gun. Stack something heavy like cinder blocks on the bowed section and hit it with the heat gun to flatten it out.

Would return it if you can but if not, weather stripping could fill the void. Depends on how weather proof you want it to be.

Drop a big ol turd on the lid. It still won't close but it will match the walmark storage box.

Why not just return it back to Walmarks and get one that isn't warped?
